A lot of blame to go around in Washington.–Wolf Blitzer, CNN

Propped atop their empty suits

The talking heads declaim

Both parties working in cahoots

Will have to share the blame.

In tones of greatest gravity

Inveigh against the sin,

The uttermost depravity

Of failing to give in.

The doctors at the CDC

Have gone home to their spouses.

If there’s a plague then let it be

A plague on both your Houses.

Home to roost the chickens come

Bearing salmonella.

His ass Wolf Blitzer can’t tell from

His elbow or patella.

The never-ending tedium

Of commentary seems

To always seek the medium

Halfway between extremes.
